Choose from the fully self contained and newly renovated two bedroom Overseer’s and Jillaroo’s Cottages or the Shearer’s Bunkhouse with share bathrooms.

Guests can self cater or enjoy a range of delicious Australian country-style meals such as farmyard breakfasts, stockman’s lunches (often served on the banks of the river or out in the paddocks) and two or three course dinners served to your accommodation.

Trilby Station, with a total of 13 bedrooms (26 beds) is ideal for groups.

If you fancy a spot of fishing or yabbying, or maybe to paddle a canoe – the majestic Darling River is there for you to enjoy. Bird watching and bush walking with the wildlife, among the giant river red gum and coolabah trees along the meandering river, are also great ways to unwind and soak up the beauty of this semi arid landscape.

Increasingly artists are finding our station the perfect paradise to paint, relax and enjoy this calm and peaceful rural retreat.

Activities include: Observing station activities such as shearing, crutching, lamb marking, calf branding, watching the station children doing School of the Air, fishing, yabbying, canoeing, picnics by the river, view farm machinery from early settlers, join in windmill and water runs and a 4WD tour of the property.

Trilby Station is centrally located by air from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide and an ideal base to venture out from, to areas such as Louth, Tilpa and Bourke.

Recommended for two, three or four night stays - opportunity to explore the magnificent western districts, townships and its' people.

Fly from Sydney by regional airlines, travel by rail or self drive. Local sealed and lit airstrip at Louth 25kms away. Rail or coach to Bourke or Cobar.
